G Element’s CEO and Managing Director, Eric Loh added, “We are excited to partner with APRO Asian Protection to enhance our integrated solutions and drive innovation together. This MOU with APRO Asian Protection marks a pivotal step in our shared commitment to delivering exceptional value to our clients.”
About APRO Asian Protection
Three decades ago, APRO embarked on its journey in Singapore, emerging as a leading manpower guarding security business under the ownership of two multinational giants. Initially, Inchcape Bhd held a 51% stake while TEAB Security Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Swedish Telecom, owned the remaining 49%.
In 1991 and again in 2008, APRO underwent significant transformations through Management Buyouts, led by Bobby and Geok, transitioning into a fully Singaporean-owned and managed entity. Despite the departure of Inchcape and the Swedish Telecom subsidiary, their influence remained embedded within APRO’s DNA, enriching the company with best practices in Operations and Human Resource Management.
The evolution from multinational ownership to a proudly Singaporean identity has empowered APRO to better serve its clientele. With a comprehensive understanding of local culture coupled with insights gleaned from international expertise, APRO stands as a beacon of excellence in the security industry.

With the increase in concerns of environmental health and people’s interest, the United Nations has provided a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including water, energy, climate, transport, people health and well-being, sustainable cities and communities etc.
In line with the United Nations SDGs, Senfi smart building services cloud not only convert buildings and cities into smart ones where operations can be monitored, but also helps buildings and cities become sustainable through the use of autonomous workflow engine combining with data from sensors and AI/analytics. Let’s look at how Senfi works.
Monitoring and automated alerts
Connected to all the sub-systems and sensors, Senfi consolidates and processes the data in the cloud, and combines data with 3D model of the building to provide a digital twin and analytics charts.
Senfi digital twin
As a common data environment, Senfi can effectively collect and manage asset and facility data, operational data and real-time equipment data to provide a full picture of the building environment. Building owners can easily pull out information on overall energy and water usage, or dive deep to uncover the breakdown of individual usage.
Automatic alert sent when equipment failure occurs
Rules can also be set in Senfi’s workflow engine to constantly monitor situations in the building, and automatically send out alerts/notifications to the relevant personnel when qualifying conditions are met. Senfi can help to detect issues automatically, offloading some of the manpower needed for manual monitoring.
Autonomous sustainability with AI and control systems
Patterns observed from charts analysis
Aside from monitoring building operations, Senfi works with AI and analytics to forecast patterns in operations. This allows operators to discover consumption patterns and incorporate them into automatic workflow which helps to reduce energy, water and material consumption during off peak hours.
Automatic room temperature control using Senfi workflows
Sensors data can also be used to help moderate energy usage. One such example is space sensors being deployed to feedback room temperatures into Senfi workflow, which will then tell the Chiller to increase/decrease chilled airflow so as to maintain stable comfortable room temperature at minimal energy usage.
On-demand services
Automated on-demand cleaning
Instead of scheduled cleaning of building, cleaning can now be requested on-demand, based on sensor data. Based on sensors, Senfi can monitor facilities usage frequency and determine if the facility requires cleaning. This reduces resource and manpower wastage, while ensuring building occupants’ good health and comfort.
Incorporation of robotics to improve operations efficiency
Last but not least, Senfi can intelligently incorporate robotics into building operations, in areas such as cleaning, delivery, inspection, security and others, which helps to improve work productivity and efficiency while relieving strain on manpower.

Senfi On-Premise solution uses servers on premise for data storage, eliminating the need for internet connection to access cloud database. Functionalities such as 3D model support for BIM, 3DS Max files etc, integration to sensors and 3rd party systems, automation, charting and reporting are maintained in Senfi On-Premise solution.
Communications between Senfi client and server are secured and encrypted. User logins are authenticated either via Senfi login or Single Sign-On (using OIDC over OAuth 2.0 Standard Flow and OAuth 2.0 Client Credentials Flow). For added security, Senfi login also supports two-factor authentication using Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) which also works without internet access.

KONE Digital Xperience – 22 April 2021, National Gallery, Singapore
KONE Digital Xperience event
We thank all those who has taken time to attend the KONE Digital Xperience. Due to covid-19 situation, this is the first live exhibition G Element has been able to participate in after a one-year hiatus. It is also the first public appearance of our latest product, Senfi – the autonomous intelligence cloud for smart buildings.
G Element showcase at KONE Digital Xperience event
In this combined showcase with our partner KONE, Senfi demonstrates the integration with the KONE API to allow building users to monitor the live situation of their elevators via Senfi digital twin dashboard and create high value autonomous workflows using the Senfi’s autonomous intelligence engine.
Senfi Autonomous Intelligence Cloud for Smart Buildings
As the live exhibition is held at the National Gallery, we have created a National Gallery demo, where Senfi integrates with the KONE Cloud API to enable end-users to visualize “live” information of the KONE elevators installed at National Gallery and receive notifications/alarms on elevator events via the National Gallery digital twin dashboard.
INNOVATIVE POSSIBILITIES
Smart hospitality workflow
With the Senfi autonomous intelligence engine, we can create smart hospitality workflows where upon detecting the arrival of a VIP, an usher robot can be dispatched to welcome the VIP. The workflow can concurrently call the KONE elevator down to bring the VIP and the robot to the destination floor. At the destination floor, Senfi can coordinate with different sensors such as video and smart lighting to provide the VIP with a personalized visiting experience.
COLLABORATION BETWEEN KONE AND G ELEMENT
Digital twin showing live elevator information and alarms
In this partnership where Senfi is natively integrated with the KONE Cloud API, users can visualize “live” information of elevators and be alerted in the event of any elevator incidents.
People flow based Autonomous Workflow
Users can now create people flow based autonomous workflows, for example when a meeting has ended and a room needs to be cleaned, a cleaning request can be sent to Senfi to trigger an autonomous cleaning workflow. Senfi can then dispatch cleaning robot and then help the robot reach the destination floor by coordinating with the KONE elevator through the KONE Cloud API.
