NUCLEUS classifies the NUCLEUS users according to their roles into three categories: Administrators, Managers and Operators:

• Administrator. An administrator is the person who manages the NUCLEUS Server and its other users.  
• Manager. A manager is a person who oversees day to day operations such as the security manager and facilities manager etc.
• Operator. An operator is a person who monitors a subset of devices, such as a staff member of the security team.

Administrators have the highest permissions, and this cannot be revoked. However, they can configure the permissions of Managers and Operators.
